Job Summary

Our client is currently seeking a OEM Sales Manager This is a fast-growing Building Materials Manufacturing & Distributor. The OEM Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing market penetration in the defined territory by working with the existing customer base & developing new accounts. This person needs to be located in Ohio or Western PA. Candidates who DO NOT live in these locations should not apply. This person will manage B2B Sales into OEM Modular Construction & other Manufacturers with a focus on Design Build firms & Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings, Candidaets with previous expeirecne in Building Materials & B2B Sales are highly preferred.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all current customers within the region; understand their business models, needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the OEM market and its potential within the region, including key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Identify, develop, and onboard new OEM customer accounts to expand market opportunities and drivers for sales growth.
  • Research and become knowledgeable of new construction projects within the region utilizing the knowledge base tools as well as other construction data reports.
  • Develop and execute territory and account business plans focused on retention, new account acquisition, and product line penetration.
  • Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.
  • Responsible for achieving annual sales volume, revenue, and profit goals.
  • Develop, maintain, and actively manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM; ensure timely and accurate data entry.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, territory plans, and activity reports for management review.
  • Analyze sales data, customer buying patterns, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Chain to ensure accurate order fulfillment, lead times, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain awareness of new products, services, competitor activity, and industry trends.
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Credit, and Supply

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • Minimum of five years of B2B Sales Experience within Building Products or related field.
  • Proven ability to convert prospects, close deals, and consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to build lasting
  • Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), virtual meeting
  • Strong business development mindset with a focus on prospecting, new account growth, and
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques and have problem
