In this dynamic role, you'll interact with customers daily, manage incoming orders, support sales and warehouse operations, and help deliver an outstanding customer experience. No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and building strong relationships.
This is not a traditional office position. It is a hands-on, customer-facing role where the ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and stay organized is essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Manage a high volume of incoming customer calls while providing exceptional service
- Assist walk-in customers in a busy shop environment and help identify solutions to meet their needs
- Process customer orders and create delivery tickets for warehouse fulfillment
- Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash and payment transactions
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Maintain accurate customer and transaction records
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure efficient service and delivery
- Balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Build positive relationships with customers and contribute to a welcoming team environment

Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of customer service, retail, administrative support, or related experience
- Experience operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Experience with multi-line phone systems
- Prior office, order entry, or customer support experience
- Background in Turf and Horticulture is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
- Proficiency with computer systems and standard office technology
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel as needed
- Basic mathematical proficiency, including percentages, fractions, and decimals
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
